fnping − reports the status of a CORBA object
fnping [ -f file | UOL ]
fnping takes an object UOL (Universal Object Locator) either from standard input, from a file (using the -f option), or even as an argument to the program, and is used (not surprisingly) to ‘ping’ objects to see if they are alive.
